Mike Scott
Owner President
A native Texan, Mike was born in Odessa and grew up in Lubbock. He’s been working in the electrical business for more than 35 years, earning his Master’s Electrician license when he was just 23. To maximize his extensive experience in (and knowledge of) the industrial electrical industry, Mike and his family moved to the DFW metroplex – where he opened Scott Electric in 1996. Now working with his son Kyle, Mike has built and nurtured long-lasting business relationships and friendships with his customers since the day he set up shop.
Mike’s belief in hard work and that “you get out what you put in” also carries into his private life; he is deeply involved in his community, his church and many charitable organizations. And, of course, golf (ask him about his game!). As owner and president of Scott Electric, Mike is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
Kyle Scott
General Manager
Another native Texan, Kyle was born and raised in Lubbock. Along with his folks, he moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex in 1996. He holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship/business administration from the University of North Texas, and is also a journeyman electrician. Today, utilizing his technical training and business savvy, Kyle runs Scott Electric (alongside his dad Mike).
Away from the job, Kyle is very involved with his family, his church and – you guessed it – golf. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and just being in the great outdoors.
