Custom Lighting Rebate Qualification
Qualifying for this program isn’t as simple and straightforward as qualifying for many others. Per the information found on Oncor’s website, you must adhere to all of the following in order to qualify to receive this rebate:
- Your facility must be located in Oncor’s service area
- You must receive electricity from an Oncor meter
- Your project must achieve at least $10,000 minimum incentive in verified savings
- Your project must be approved by Oncor prior to starting
That last point is a key part of this program: only projects and upgrades that are approved by Oncor prior to starting the installation process can receive this rebate. That means LED lighting systems that might qualify but were installed prior to receiving approval will not be eligible to receive this rebate.
